Incorporating a strengths-based philosophy into coursework, programs, and services can be a powerful tool to support student academic success. This course will provide a curriculum that can help students gain a deeper understanding of their talents and how those talents not only enhance their academics but also other aspects of their lives. Course participants will explore an overall theme of academic resilience and discover how strengths development can provide the foundation for overcoming academic challenges. Originally developed for a Student Support Services Program (TRIO), this curriculum can be adapted for a broad range of educational programs and services.

Annual Recertification
Participants in Strengths Advocate will be expected to participate in an annual learning and discovery program in which the latest strengths research will be shared and participants will be able to contribute to the ongoing study of strengths by sharing their data and metrics with Clifton Strengths School. More details will be available during the registration process.
