Gallup® Student Poll Advisor
This professional development program is designed for educators who want to lead the charge for school based interventions utilizing the Gallup Student Poll scorecard results. Their goal is to drive hope, engagement, and wellbeing measurements, thereby improving district student outcome goals and growing an optimal learning culture on a school campus.
* The StrengthsQuest Educator Seminar is considered an equivalent to Strengths 101.
Great teachers do things differently than average teachers. Regardless of their unique abilities and practices, all great teachers have one thing in common -- they know their talents and they leverage them in the classroom. Participants in Strengths 101 will learn to define their top five strengths as assessed by the Clifton StrengthsFinder and apply their strengths in the classroom through strengths-based principles, concepts, and practices.

Strengths 303: Hope, Engagement, and Wellbeing of America’s Students
Strengths 303 is designed for educators willing to lead the charge for taking the Gallup Student Poll scorecard results seriously. They will leave the course equipped with the understanding, insight, and interventions necessary to drive positive change in their students’ hope, engagement, and wellbeing, thus getting them truly ”ready for the future”. They will learn how Hope drives student attendance, GPA, and retention. They will also discover how engagement relates to performance on high-stakes tests; how wellbeing is a factor, rather than a product of success; and how strengths development relates to Gallup Student Poll findings. Theories that undergird hope, engagement, and wellbeing will be reviewed and implications of the poll results will be discussed in the context of best practices for school based interventions. Empirically supported solutions for change will be described each week. Educators will be asked to create their own school-specific efforts to drive change in poll numbers.
